Victorian Gothic

M decided we were long overdue a "girlie day out" so we headed off on an adventure trip over the water to the Isle of Bute. Our destination was Mount Stuart, a place M had visited a few years previously and that other friends had insisted I really had to experience.
And an experience it is! 
Best described as a place displaying the best of Victorian Gothic architecture, mixed up with Greek mythology, astronomy and astrology............ it is truly bonkers :-)
