Folk with the folks

I wouldn't normally travel all this way for a folk festival but one of my all time favourite singers; Dougie Maclean was opening the Sandwich Folk & Ale festival and Mum and Dad invited me along. Now it's hardly rock n' roll but hey, what do I care!

We have listened to him for years on our trips up to Scotland since my parents first came across him when we were kids. For me his music brings back so many nostalgic memories and Anya is a fan now too.

We have seen him play before and once again he didn't disappoint; just beautiful music I could listen to all day!
