Exhausted

Florence really wore us out, and the whole day was rather stressful.
I guess we were pampered by our rural lodgings, and stay in tiny and/or calm places, that Florence had the overwhelming effect on us.
Finding parking was a nightmare, and huge amounts of tourists clogged the streets. The Uffizi (we had bought tickets beforehand) and the Boboli Garden were wonderful, but we noticed for the first time the full summer heat which made strolling a bit difficult.
I absolutely adored the dome (Duomo) with all those details - I couldn´t get enough! But I have to remember to come in the fall or winter next time.
