Sunrise

I went outside this morning to take a photo of the mist hanging in the valleys towards the city and then headed in the opposite direction, to the top of the garden (to see if the sun had risen yet) and stood on my chair (which lives there specifically for this purpose!) to look towards the North East and thought 'aha!' The sun was just seconds away from topping the hill. It wasn't a big dramatic sunrise (see this for one of those) but it was beautifully subtle and glowing.

Definitely better larger!
