My View

I spent most of the morning doing volunteer work for the next big WeSnip garage sale the first weekend in August.  I came home with noble intentions to clean the house but ended up watching a Sherlock Holmes movie (The Scarlet Claw).  My favorite Sherlock Holmes is Basil Rathbone and of course, Nigel Bruce as Dr. Watson.  I suspect that comes from the fact that my mother and I used to watch them when I was a kid, so even though I know many fine actors have taken on those roles, my loyalty is to Basil and Nigel.  The series was mostly done in the 1940s so they are indeed dated, but who cares -- so am I.
