The Viking hoards march behind their longboat to the docks, where the boat burning ceremony was to take place later that day.

They had to lower the mast a couple of times, first to fit beneath some bunting and I think later for a telephone line. Or was that the one they didn't see? The tip of the mast caught on a line at one point (the boatmen hadn't noticed that the line was too low) and stretched it for a few centimetres. Fortunately the mast gave way before the line did.
