I don't know why but we seem to reserve this walk for the wettest of days. Mrs SJR and I returned home soaked to the skin. Bob and Caley are oblivious to the rain and in addition seem to take great satisfaction in running headlong down all the trackside ditches which are incredibly muddy after sustained rain fall.
This pool is the last good spot of clear water for bathing before returning to the car.
