Runners

Great morning at the first Run Around the Garden in Letchworth. Carys and I ran together in the mile race. She ran 7.45! She also learnt that running fast hurts, but her pride prevented her from stopping to walk. She had to run past church as our normal service was turning out, she didn't want anyone she knew to see her walking at that  point!

Will and I ran in the fun run. It was 0.8mile. He shot off, but to his credit he ran the whole thing and was definitely one of the first 'little' ones to finish. He was so chuffed with the whole thing, particularly the water bottle and the medal. He insisted I take a shot of him on the podium, which is one of my extras.

I ran home while Jim took the kids in the car. After baths/showers and lunch we wandered into town, enjoyed a gelato at Fabio's before Daddy walked home and we went on into town to see what Rhythm's stuff was going on. They met C's oldest friend, all had a go on the trampolines while watching C's other friend and her sister perform their street dance.

We scooted home to play in the garden, have tea and go to bed.
