Grubbing around

After watching Andy Murray's success this afternoon, I went for a short walk along by the local estuary. I was hoping to catch a bird but the only one worth photographing was this black headed gull who was grubbing around in the mud for it's supper.
When I returned home, I had a FaceTime call from our family in Canada so that was nice to see what our grandsons had been up to in their summer holidays.
