Following the boat.

A beautiful morning, so we went off to Tynemouth. There were quite a few people enjoying the sun and the beach.
We had coffee at one of favourite coffee shops, then went for a walk along the cliff tops towards North Shields. We came back via a huge stretch of grass, where a large group of children were taking part in all kinds of sports on one side, and on the other, were tennis courts, where adults and children were queueing up for their turn to play.
We then walked between rows of allotments, all beautifully kept, and with many kinds of vegetables and flowers.
