Moth Action, Part II

We need a weekend.

A day of two halves.

The first was a wet, dull day, which was when the blip was taken. These lifeguards had little to do  this morning, no-one around, save for one windsurfer. We were having our quick stroll after breakfast, before commencing more moth action. I sprayed the whole of J's Mum's flat as we battle the carpet moths, and took a trip to the tip (see extra - I thought about this as a potential Derelict Sunday blip, by this time the weather had completely changed).

The second half was our journey back north. Another long journey. The A34 - the main route north - closed in both directions, so we had to divert (and stop to buy a road atlas, we don't do SatNav). Andy Murray had won by the time we got to Newbury. We got home in time to watch part of the second half of the Euro Cup Final, and then extra time. The Portuguese waiter who we talked to at the Cliffhanger last night will be having a good evening.

When we arrived home we put all our bags into quarantine before emptying them. And  found a carpet moth in flight. It did not last long !! Objectively, an interesting part of mother nature's order - feeding on keratin, and evolved to deal with material in birds nests, mammals dens, and hides on dead animals. What is a carpet if not a big dead sheep's hide.

Anyway - well done Portugal, Andy Murray and of course Lewis Hamilton.
