Beautiful Sri Lankan Wedding

A friend/coworker was married today in a gorgeous, colourful and fascinating religious and civil ceremony. We were there for 9 a.m. breakfast then 3 hours of ceremonies (with breaks) followed by the most delicious lunch. The largest photo has the coloured rice art at the bottom of the photo - so cool. We wore similar clothing to the saris to try to blend in. It was such a lovely, and loving day, very happy to be part of it. After all the amazing food and mango lassis (my fav) i hit the pool and track and was super sluggish but glad i pushed myself to do it. Now just waiting on my sweetie's return from his rowing regatta, they won 2 of their 3 races!
