Coming home

This is the view from the middle seat of my airplane as we were descending into Denver from the east. Couldn't quite see the mountains straight ahead. And it turns out they are shrouded in smoke from a wildfire anyway...
The man next to the window was very kind in letting me lean into his space. Then I found out he was the airport manager for the Denver airport!
I'm exhausted, it's good to be home.
