"This is going to be expensive"

Jesse rolled his rear tire off going around a corner at the bottom of Lookout. It was rather amazing to watch. He nearly saved it. His bike looked like a side winder snake dancing down the road. He eventually lost it and rolled over the handle bars. He is incredibly lucky that 1. he saved it as well as he did 2. there was no oncoming traffic and 3. that he did it at the bottom where the roads are wider, that than up on the decent where he would have gone over a guard rail.

This is what rolling your rear tire off looks like. This ended Beloki's career. Jesse escaped with a couple knarly bruises and the tiniest amount of blood. His equipment on the other hand: somewhat shredded jersey, broken helmet, ruined rim and tire (yes, that blue thing is his tire wrapped around his handlebars. Luckily the frame appears to be fine.

Should have ended with a trip to the ER, instead we got d'deli for lunch and he somehow limped the bike 20 miles home.
