Today we were invited into our friends garden for a barbecue starting at 2 pm.
Since we again slept long, we only managed a short walk around the flea market at the market hall before we had to set off to the garden. It is a 40 min journey with public transport.
It was the first time we visited the garden and it is beautiful. German kind of allotment, with a little house on it, that has a kitchen, bathroom and a space too sleep under the roof.
We had a lovely afternoon with Strawberry-Bowle (strawberries soaked in brandy then topped up with wine and champagne) beers for Neil and a lot of lovely grilled food.
It was rather hot and we just sat relaxed in the shade and did not move much.
At 9 pm we made our way home and I decided to sample the different ice cream shops in our neighbourhood. I stopped after 4 scoops, but thoroughly enjoyed it.
It was a very hot day and did not cool down all night, so we stayed outside quite long.
The picture is taken in the U-Bahn on our way home. The guy was on his way to work - selling roses in pubs and restaurants. Did not look too happy though.
