Klapotetz

The son of our friends in Eibiswald put together a sight seeing program for us around the Steiermark (Styria). This is one of the sights I wanted to show her in the wine growing region - the Klapotetz, sort of a mechanical scarecrow which makes a noise like a ratchet when the wind turns the blades. We couldn't hear them today as they are only activated once the grapes are ripe.
