What has happened to summer?

After watching a bit of a Jack Wiltshire show on Netflix this afternoon, we went out for a drive in the surrounding countryside.
We took the Insight as my taxi had a slow puncture. Whilst we were out the garage called to tell me I had, not 1, not 2, not even 3: but 7 nails in the tyre. SEVEN!!!!
New tyre needed. Just as well it was one of the older tyres.

Anyway our drive took us via Stuartfield, where this old millpond is situated.
