Tyne Bridges

We had to pop into Newcastle today and so we took half an hour out to pop down to the Quayside and look at the River Tyne. Everything down there has changed so much since I first came to Tyneside in the late Seventies, no one would have wanted to go down to the riverside back then. We had a lovely, though short, stroll, wishing there was time to stop for a coffee and peruse the scenery. This Blip was taken from the now-famous Millennium Bridge looking back towards the Tyne Bridge.
