Start of the birthday weekend

As you get older the birthday celebrations get longer. Though I'm not a fan of this getting older lark. Dinner out in Windermere with family was the plan this evening.
My friend Alison had seen I was out and messaged to say would you mind if I gate crashed and joined you for a drink. Absolutely was the reply. Lovely food, drinks and most importantly company.
