New Gherkin view

Good day at work today - it seemed to go really quickly, which is always nice.  But also, I found out I'd won one of the categories in our Euro 2016 sweepstake - my favourite category in fact, the Thunderbastard!  Thanks to Gareth Bale, I won £20 :)

Poor Tim was still feeling poorly today.  He'd already booked the day off work so he could chill out after his birthday, but it might as well have been a sick day really.  I came home and cooked him a giant chilli though, which seems to have helped.

Snapped this photo on the way home this evening.  It never used to be possible to see the Gherkin from here before, but a new (probably only temporary) view has opened up, thanks to the building opposite being demolished.
