Knife sharpening in Mumbai

Whilst visiting the Banganga Tank in the Malabar Hill area we came across this man on what I first thought was an exercise bike but turned out to be a knife sharpener. Peddling like mad caused the wet stone to spin. All he had to do was drag the knife across. Banganga Tank is a precinct of temples surrounding a pool of water with a pole in the centre of it. The wooden pole in the centre according to legend is the centre of the earth.

Tomorrow we go to Delhi to begin our Ayurvedic treatment. Delhi has been hit by massive power blackouts so I'm not sure whether we will even get there.
