Jazz Exam.....tick

The results are out and M has received a commended pass. Tonight she began the next step in her dance journey with "beginners pointe class". To me it looks highly tedious - lots of stretching of feet using a big piece of very stretchy plastic while watching the looks of pain on the faces of the older girls who already have their pointe shoes. The new mums sat and wondered why the girls want this so badly and why we have agreed.
BTW it is freezing here tonight, the dance studio was icy and the roadside where I rescued S who had run out of diesel was even colder....but that's another story.
