We could do with a purple patch at the moment.

Stepson S went back to St George's to have his staples removed. His headache is as bad as ever and he was readmitted. Waiting again.

Highlight of the day was a couple of hours with friend S in the afternoon, where as a welcome respite the conversation veered off medical topics. Books, crafts, our forthcoming mini-holiday, all were discussed, and as always with S, there was laughter. Thank you friend, you are a tonic.
