Red Ant Delight
A juvenile starling found an anthill housing red ants for a meal. The starling is holding a red ant in it's bill, and ants crawling up the bird were easy pickings. Many juvenile starlings were in the short grass feeding.
Due to light brown color this may look like a cowbird, but a cowbird's bill is thicker not long and pointy like a starling's bill. Also, below the middle of the wing black/light tipped starling transitional plumage is beginning to grow.
