Dreaming of a Rose Garden

This is a corner of the walled rose garden at Drum Castle. Not too many roses in this picture, nor in any of the other photographs I took while I was in the Walled Garden. The roses are well past their best, though maybe with the weather we have been having they have never been at their best this year.

The weather was nice today, though it seems to have been getting better as the day went on. In fact it seems to have saved the best for the evening. Not warm though, I doubt it went above 17 degrees, if even that. Still it is nice to see the sun, and not to see rain.
