155/365:: DRESSING ROOM •

Who's a lucky actor? Me. That's who. The dressing room is a sacred place. Where you can be yourself in whatever state you are. A place for quiet, privacy, peace, sanctuary. A place for brotherhood, ritual, community, strength and shelter. It's where we leave our lives on pause, during a performance. Where we celebrate our triumphs and mourn our disappointments. Where we leave our smartphones, our stress, anxiety and coats and jeans of the outside world. What's said in the dressing room, stays in the dressing room. Respect. I am honoured to share this space with two of the finest actors I know, Brendan Wall and Sandy Winsby. Each a gentleman, each with a sense of humour that brings out the devil in me.
