Newie East from the Cowrie hole in the Blue Hour
It was blowing a hoolie overnight and this morning. The sort of conditions that instantly destroys hairdos and frightens the horses and little children. Despite that I took the hounds out for a walk this morning but stayed well away from walking under trees. By this evening it had dropped to just moderately freezing conditions with not much wind to speak of. A swing by the baths and a 4 image pan stitched in LR was about the only thing worth blipping. I did however see a whale in reasonably close and a rather large octopus sliding into a pool. When I went a little closer to look at it it was changing colour to blend in with the bottom of the pool. Amazing don't you think!
