Botanics

Visited the Botanical Gardens this morning and was somewhat underwhelmed. Very little colour or interest: not a patch on Edinburgh. Indeed, the most memorable thing was the half hour torrential downpour from which I was glad to find shelter.

This afternoon I will referee a paper in my hotel room before going to the conference for the last session of the day, then off to the dinner.
