Goldfinch on the Anemone Seedheads

Glancing out of the window, I noticed a movement in the anemone patch. This goldfinch was stripping off the seedheads.

Luckily my long lens was to hand but I had to shoot through glass. There isn't the sharpness and definition that I would have liked.

Not much to report so far today. I have an appointment for a toenail cutting session in Ashby de la Zouch later and might call round The Studio in East Leake on a very circular route.
