Difficult to travel around (there have been several roadworks on the highway for many years) and to connect (the Internet connection has been coming and going). A nice trip to the countryside, a few miles off the beaten track, to see the famous black-skinned pig from the Nebrodi mountains (see an article from The Guardian). A family-run butchery rears animals just outside the shop, for everyone to see. This might not be appreciated by vegetarians, but I really believe that salami and ham from here are among the best in the world.
