Seedlings

Radishes: the first seeds I grew as a child.
I can see why my dad said, "Can't beat 'em!"
They germinate quickly, they're easy to grow,
and in two or three weeks you can eat 'em!

Today, at long last, we have SUNSHINE! - though with a cold wind, just so's we don't let it go to our heads. Still, the washing's on the line. Now, I'd better go and water those seedlings ...
