Three Heifers

We came across these Ayreshire Heifers on our evening walk. They were a curious bunch and we were soon surrounded by the whole herd ! They have huge brown eyes and are very gentle.
It has been lovely and sunny all day until about 5pm when, true to forecast the drizzle began.
Off to Dumfries tomorrow with Maggie to choose an outfit for a "do" they have been invited to. No doubt we will shop till we drop !
