Fixer Upper?

One of the photogenic items around our friends house, though I guess this wheel is beyond the repairable stage?

In other news, we are away tomorrow for a second viewing of a house we quite like - it too needs some sorting out but is structurally ok. 

and ... our son has passed his pHd viva  :-)  I was at work overnight when I found out, my celebratory choco-milk from the vending machine didn't quite do it ... we'll probably go out somewhere over the weekend.
