Practicing!

Joe was imagining what it must of been like to be a gunner.  His Dad was a gunner during the war on the USS Bayfield.

This ship here is the USS The Sullivans .  It was launched in 1943.   there were 5 brothers all stationed on the USS Juneau, and was sunk by a Japanese sub in Nov of 1942 in the battle of Guadalcanal.

    We went to the Canalside of Buffalo which seems to be a tourist destination now a days!   The extra is the Canal view.
