A Different Spider

Circumstances were similar to yesterday: I was removing dead and damaged plant material, but this spider, unlike yesterday's, did not move at all. I spotted it, went in to get the camera, came back, and shot til I was sated and it didn't move one little spider hair. For all I know, it may still be sitting out there on the kale.

Footnote to yesterday's tale: I went out this morning to check on the egg case, and it was gone! the leaf was there, with some filaments of web, but the whole darn thing had just disappeared. I cannot imagine that the spider moved it. But maybe.
