Waiting for instructions

In addition to burst pipes, we are having fibre cables laid in all the streets around us.  I can only imagine the racket that the dogs in the street make when the workers dig up the pavements and driveways.

Every morning a group of at least 50 guys are transported to the park at the bottom of our road where they hang around to be told what their task is for the day.

I can think of better places to be at 6am on a winters morning!
