Crummock water

First day of a five-night fully-escorted workshop, so four days of landscapes to come from me.

Weather started awful, so we headed to Lanthwaite woods at Crummock water to shelter, by lunchtime it had improved, and we walked round the edge of the lake. A late blast of sunlight caught these trees with Rannerdale knotts in the shade behind so well.

Of course, it will look better large on black.
