RAF Association
We left home at 8.30 and caught the coach for the U3A Photographic club outing. This year we went to the National Memorial Arboretum. We arrived about 11.30 and decided to eat first before looking around. The grounds are amazing and so well kept. We went in the Singapore Museum and this was very moving and makes you wonder how people can be so cruel We then wandered towards the WW1 exhibition taking in plenty on the way. They had replica's of the trenches and it is hard to believe that our soldiers and allies fought in such conditions. We also say the Falklands War memorial and also there was a section for children - this was sad. We made our way back after an enjoyable day and caught our coach back at 4.00. Home about 6.30 and then out to a committee meeting.
