High Jump

Rain caused the postponement of today's Sports Day at school - at least the postponement of the track events. However, between the showers this morning, they still ran the field events including long and triple jumps, shot put and javelin.  The high jump was, as in past years, held inside the sports hall.

This shot was fairly early on in the competition for lower school.  This lad is well clear of the bar and went on to higher things, but there were several boys who could not manage this height.  (I doubt that I could have managed it either!)
