Connections

Had a trip to the National Coalmining Museum at Overton today - it's been open years, is twenty minutes away in an area I know well but have never been!

It was really interesting - we didn't go underground as Lottie would have had to carry a heavy battery pack for an hour or more and I didn't think she would do it. We did go on a nature walk though, and listened to a very interesting lady acting out a miners wife during WW2 - all about blackouts, evacuees etc.

Took loads of photos (surprising I know!) but I quite like this one!

Back to work and month end tomorrow :-(
