Dragon on a Lily

It's not often that I get the opportunity to capture a dragonfly sitting on a flower, but today there were lots of them at the Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens where the Lotus blossoms and Water Liliess are at their peak.  It was very hot and humid but the flowers were magnificent, as was the Green Heron that I have loaded into the extras.  Some of the beautiful flowers can be seen here on Flickr.  It was a great morning spent in the good company of WRPerry.  We are off to the Sunflowers tomorrow.
