Lotus Progression

A visit to the local aquatic garden was the perfect way to spend a hot summer morning.  Osuzanna and I went early to avoid the worst heat of the day.  The lotus are at peak bloom and absolutely gorgeous.  This shot includes flowers at three different stages.  A shot of a resident Green Heron is in the extras.
