Found out a few things today.

Found out that my downstairs neighbour was the person who swept away the shit at the weekend. Not the dog owner.

I also found out that the Council's advertised dog fouling complaint phone number that I've been calling - four times now - is the wrong place to complain to. They're the 'community safety' people, with no jurisdiction over tenement courts, apparently. Why this wasn't pointed out to me before, I don't know.

I've taken my complaint to the Environmental Health department - actual Council, not some arm's length letter writing subsidiary with no power to do anything. We shall see.

Meanwhile, the poo dog plays shit hopscotch up the garden path once more.
