Chateau de Villandry

Of all the chateaus in the Loire, this has to be one of the best - the gardens are amazing! (I've added a few extras) And fortunately, they allow dogs in the gardens so the boys were able to come with us.  We couldn't take them into the Chateau, but to be honest, I prefer wandering through the gardens and looking at the architecture anyway.

When we got home we enjoyed the hot tub again! (I've been in it every day so far), and then tonight we've been out for dinner at a local restaurant call Le Plantagenet.  It's in the Michelin guide and the food and service were fantastic.  I even ended up having a chat with the Maitre D' in French about Brexit!

Update, Friday morning - just waking up to the terrible news about the terrorist attack in Nice last night.  It's so very very sad, what is this world coming to?
