New toy ....

The lorry back in for the remainder of the wool sheets that wouldn't fit on yesterday's load .
Went up to the mart at Stirling with a trailer load of 30 lambs and 17 old ewes. Filled up with diesel when I got back so worked out at 28 litres for the 100 miles, or 31p/mile.
While I was away the dealer delivered the new tedder we had bought and took our old one away as a trade in. The new one is bigger and fits the rows of grass left from our bigger mower better. Later on I saw our old one go past on a neighbours tractor as he is thinking of buying it.
2 cows calved tonight but don't think they have sucked so will need done in the morning. Should be fun as one cow is a nutter when she calves. The joys !
