Happy 4th birthday, Beautiful!

She opened each gift this morning, blearily eyed, declaring everything her favourite. "my favourite princess!" "my favourite dress!" "my favourite monster!" bless her :) 

The teachers at school gave her a card and her class all sang to her, then M took them out for a picnic tea party in the park and we had cake when i arrived to collect them all.  They've spent the evening playing with the neighbours. After 8 years of living beside each other, they've finally stopped being shy. Its lovely.

Dylan's class did a great performance of Monkey Puzzle this morning too. Sadly no photos as we weren't allowed, but he looked very smart and read his lines perfectly. For the youngest in the class, he's pretty confident speaking in front of an audience. Wasn't afraid to sing and dance either.

Work stuff felt a bit more optimistic today too. We shall see what next week brings.
