Retina

I went for a routine eye test this morning. I was fascinated by the image that the optician took of the back of my eyeball; unfortunately her technology was not up to emailing a copy to me. So I snapped the screen and just cropped it a bit. Lots of other stuff occurred later on including much work and also an expedition across the Links to help celebrate Malc's birthday (hurray!). But I find I haven't taken any other photos today probably due to waiting for the effect of the horrible pupil-dilating eye drops to wear off.

So it's the Meles (meles) retina. Apparently this seems to be in reasonably good shape, for an aging badger anyway.....
