1. Day off today but up stupidly early for some reason. Not to worry my Olympic viewing starts as the sun comes up.

2. By ten I've watched the rowing and am all excited. I write off any plans I might have had. Sometimes you just need a right good day off, doing nothing.

3. I make egg mayo on bakers fresh rolls and settle in for the diving. we have the retrofied Barr's Ginger Beer in the fridge. It's cool in lots of ways.

4. By the time Colin comes home the male gymnasts are winning. Or are they? The silver makes me jump up and down. I have been shouting at these boys all afternoon. It's been a roller coaster, I haven't watched tv like this since Paranormal activity.

5. I love eating out. Love it. I think it's the reason we work. Tonight though we should have stayed in. I'll not go into details, Pakistani Cafe - you know what I'm talking about. Nice to be home for the highlights and another day off to look forward to.
