Ice!
Dorothy McKeller, an Australian poet wrote a poetic anthem called "A Sunburnt Country". The first line went, "I love a sunburnt country, a land of sweeping plains". Todays Blip is of the bird bath in our front garden, just to dispel any illusion that it is always bright and warm where we live, the birds needed to wait for the ice to thaw a little. The extra photo was taken about two hours later at Lake Liddell. He said his name was Gus the goose. The nice clear sky indicated that without cloud cover, tonights temperature will be quite low. Despite the bright sky and warm day in Australia, my thoughts are for France.
