Water under the bridge

We left Kobas at 07:30 this morning in an attempt to outrun a storm predicted to blow with winds of 40 knots. Further north of here 70 knots of wind is forecast!

It was very blowy on the voyage south to Dubrovnik and we only flew a wee Genoa sail for part of the journey. We were glad to pass under this bridge that leads up to ACI Dubrovnik Marina. We were safely tied up alongside before the thunder, lightning and torrential rain started!

This evening we have the final dinner of our flotilla week; it has been really brilliant and I definitely recommend it as a holiday. The staff from Seafarer have been great and have rescued a couple of yachts from unfortunate circumstances with aplomb and good humour. Let's hope they have a less eventful crowd next week :)
